Should be fine. I remember fishing for some fish that liked to eat frogs. The frog kept kicking the fish in the head. Go froggy!!!

I used to collect tadpoles as food for my red spotted newt.

Amazon when you get those rolly pollies make sure they are from an area that hasnt been sprayed with yard chemicals in a very long time, or they may transfer it to your fish tank.

You could google search how to breed your own RP's so you know what they eat and where they have been

Do Dp's like a current or lots of live plants?

They are very active puffers so I think they would like a current to play in, and they love plants to hide in and swim around in. Plants also help break the line of sight which will cut back aggression

If i put a large stock of snails in there will they eat them all and be pigs or will they only eat til there full? Should i just leave my snail stock in my 5.5 gallon when i get the tank or try to establish a stock in my new tank?

you wont be able to establish much of a stock in a puffer tank. My fahaka only eats when he is hungry, but my abei seems like he will eat till be bursts.

Id keep the 5 up and running since its already established

Is it possible to keep a small school of Danio's with them since there so fast and maybe they'l keep the puffers attention from each other?
