LOL! Well, there are a lot more of them in SW, so we would hope for more choices. But Burrfish faces are hard to top - living cartoon characters!
Here are a few picks of Kaya and her tank.hadla wrote:do you have any pics of him/her? I'd love to see!!Clowntje wrote:I love our Fahaka
too many puffers to pick from!so I'll go with each type of water =P
dream puffer is a porcupine... favorite fresh is dps cause they got me into puffers and I'd love a big tank with like 30 of them!
brackish is figure 8 cause I'm all obsessed with them right now cause I got Figgy! XD
and now I'm all excited again! XD I hope Figgy lives for a long time! This has to be the one fish that I knew I wanted and did my research off and on for about a year before finally getting one! XDRTR wrote:My personal favorite is the F-8. Those pack everything that defines puffers into a small size that anybody with 2-3 square feet of space can keep as long and perhaps better than they could the average dog. They are highly active and owner-responsive, should live about a decade and a half (but can live longer), and for a specialist fish they are quite undemanding.
thanks for the link! she is pretty! it always amazes me how big their tails are!Clowntje wrote:Here are a few picks of Kaya and her tank.hadla wrote:do you have any pics of him/her? I'd love to see!!Clowntje wrote:I love our Fahaka

Will try to make some new ones soon. She had a grow spurt after we got her and another one when we moved her to Germany.
You're right. But both burrfishes and porcupines are close relatives to puffers.I.Puff.Too wrote:I haven't owned either but for FW I want an mbu and for SW it'd be a porcupine puffer. If i'm not mistaken I don't think that's an actual puffer either, but I could be wrong!

that makes me want to take a pic of Figgy at least once a week to see how much he growsWalrus Head wrote:Heres my Fahaka raised from 2" to 9" in less than a year:
