Males have a red caudal fin (that's the most obvious) and females have an almost lace like tail in appearance.

All females. Definitely better than all males though. Perhaps you'll be able to find a male to add in time. Males are overrated anyways :biglaugh:

I was looking at them today and i saw that one of them has tiny white spots on the body and fins while the others just some on the fins.. i suspect its Ich. I raised the temperature till 86 degrees, do you guys think its enough? Or should i buy some Med? :(

You can use Kordon Ich attack it is an all herbal treatment, plant and shrimp safe etc. It doesn't really stop huge outbreaks (aka once the fish are completely covered) but it works to contain and kill off outbreaks if caught early on.

I use that plus a temp raise whenever I add new fish to a system.

Salt and heat is the most effective Ich treatment for FW Ich and fish.

I can't put salt in the tank because I have chocolate gouramies in it and they are very sensitive to salt. I don't know what to do, if the spots won't go away in the next few days i'm going to use some meds. I can't risk to lose the puffers after been waiting for months to get them! :S

I still suggest Kordon Ich-Attack it won't harm your fish and is your best bet if you cannot setup a hospital tank. It has pretty much zero negatives so you would only be out the cost and I can attest that it worked for me with Rams, Rummies and Cardinals recently.

That low amount of salt won't hurt your gourami. He''l have ich soon too, if you don't do something.

Remember that Ich attacks the gills first and preferentially - it is really a gill parasite. The body is attacked when there is not enough room left on the gills. Exposed fish may already have the bugs but you cannot see the gills well enough to detect them.

I can't find here in Italy the product you suggested, I found Esha Exit.

Today i put salt in the tank as suggested and the temperature is still up to 86 degrees. When do you think should i start to see any result?
