Even without the idividual reflectors he'll do okay with Leathers, mushrooms, zoas, polyps and some LPS. What are you using for filtration? For a nano of your size without a sump I'd get an Aquaclear 30, sponge in chamber one, liverock or that super porous rock material they give you and the small bag of Chemipure elite in the third chamber. Especially if you want to go skimmerless. Also what are you using for flow in the tank? Koralia Nano 425 would be my recommendation.

I donkt suggest using a sponge, unless you are planning on rinsing it daily. It'll raise your nitrate fast otherwise. Better off with a nano skimmer or just regular, small WC.
