Yes, my figure 8s sleep in the plants. Our puffer that died used to jump in the corner of the tank when we turned off the lights. We miss him because its now very quiet at night...

Camille looks just like Ashera!!! Ashera lays on rocks like that and blends...sometimes we can't even find her!

I know that it is normal to you but I found them asleep in the plants vertically or one on another...

Seriously? lol. No, turning off the lights was the only way to get them to go to sleep. If they ever noticed a light outside of the tank they would try to swim to it, and swim endlessly up and down the glass. Of course, I could have tried to get something to put in the tank... like a small LED blue light, Ive seen those. Thats something I may actually consider :P.
