LOL she looked really interested in those neons and guppies. I guess anything to get her eating but I think neons would be just alittle expensive as feeders. I would try your more common feeders.

Heck yeah it would!!!! I paid $14 for 3 neons, three ghost shrimp and two endlers! I looked at feeders, they looked too big. Another lfs is getting feeder guppy's on Thursday....I'm gonna check that out. My kids caught the other endler while I was busy and moved to to another tank!!! They have even named them. They are sneaky! My kids were watching on horror as she ate the neons! They had no problem watching Ares eat two guppy fry though!!! Probably because he just swallowed them whole! Lol!

I'm really glad to hear she ate something. IDK if I could feed mine such pretty fish though. Now your work is cut out for you. Get her fattened up & then fast her for 3 days, then offer a wiggly earthworm. It may take her a while to recognize it as food but be patient, she won't starve to death.

I'm jealous, I've been wanting a congo so bad, but they're very hard to find out here in the OC.

Believe me I didn't really want to feed her those but they were the smallest fish I could find. I did end up finding some rosy red minnows that were fairly small. How many should I feed her a day. How many days should I do this for before I fast her? I'm just so happy that she has eaten now!

FrogSplash-PufferPunk knows of a guy that sales congo's. I believe he has posted in the classifieds under the name African man. PP please correct me if I am wrong. The little Congo is amazing to watch, she looks like a hover craft...it is so peculiar looking!

Yeah, IDK how many he has left.

Feed your Congo fish for about 3 days, to be sure she doesn't have IPs & then skip 3.

Yeah small rosey red minnows would be what I would be feeding her until you can get her to eat worms and such.

I think i would have a hard time feeding them endlers and fancy guppies. non fancy feeder guppies I don't really care about. I would feed them neons though. I just can't feed them pretty fish or fish that have some degree of intelligence like gouramis. but like I said feeder guppies are no problem.
The woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang the best. Use the talents you possess.

I've been interested in breeding endlers, maybe I'll start a small tank. Need to find some females though...

What a night! P-Nut is in her "new" tank! She obviously loves it because she also just ate blackworms for the first time!!! She really chowed down. Too bad it also happened the same day I buy a new tank to breed guppy's for her :(. Now I feel like I wasted money on the stinking guppy tank that I could have used to get her a larger tank...plus one less tank running. Oh well, I suppose I need to get her weaned onto dead food before I scrap the guppy tank anyways.
