Do you have any evidence to support this slanderous accusation ? I don't even remember ever selling you a Fahaka as a Pustulatus......or any fish for that matter.
By the way, do you even know what a Pustulatus looks like.....have you ever seen or handled a live specimen ?
You really should'nt go about telling stories and falsely accusing people you don't even know.
Like Pufferpunk said, show us the link(s) to these stories or these people who claim i sold them the wrong fish.
I try my best to treat people with respect and i definitely take pride in my job. However, if you come to me with this kind of attitude and expect me to accomodate you forget it. I'm not that desperate for a buck and i'm definitely not going to sell for pennies what my i invested a lot of time and effort to get in.
FYI, 90-99% of whatever true Pustulatus are currently available in this country at the moment were imported by me.

The fact is people who go around looking to buy rare fish for cheap usually end up getting burnt.

Here's a copy of my correspondence with you last year:::

I recently was on a puffer forum and saw that you were a reference in buying a Congo puffer. I am from Michigan and i have had my tank cycling for a while now waiting on a Congo puffer to come in. I was curious as to if you have any to sell, or know of anybody/anywhere selling?

Thank you

I remember sending you several emails, and receiving no answers numerous times. I respect you as a person who is knowledgeable with fish but respectfully I have "heard" several stories about pustulatus being sold and ending up to be fahakas. yes, I have seen Pustulatus, but some people have speculated that the ones you have sold may have been false. I personally cannot vouch for them, but have heard so. I have never bought fish from you, and honestly never intend to. I know many knowledgeable people who could get me any fish of your stock list. I mean this message with no disrespect. I cannot show you any "evidence" via web. Just word of mouth.

If you have no evidence then don't spread it.

Well, Mr "dwdrummer", i can provide references and even photo posts of at least 2 people that have ordered (and received) true Pustulatus from me.
On the other hand, you have ended up with the wrong fish and now trying to paint a bad image me.
Good luck with getting the true Pustulatus from your sources....

Thanks to the folks who were fair in their judgement and did not jump in to take sides.

I respect Toyin & he found me a red Congo for a very reasonable price after looking for one I could afford for 4 years.

Toyin, I was never trying to jump sides. Yes, I may have been Naive and read posts and believed them. But respectfully, I apologize for "assuming" you doing wrong. I never intended to call you out or doubt your abilities as an aquatic specialist. I have never purchased any fish from you, nor have i personally owned a pustulatus, it happens to be the one fish i hope to own one day. And i am well aware you are probably one of the only few people to get there hands on em in the U.S.

A very wise person once wrote,...'believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.'

Good advice. Always be wary of things you have 'heard' from others without seeing proof. There are always 2 sides to any story and alot of times bad stories come from sour grapes. Errors are possible, especially in as diverse a species as puffers...but spreading unsubstantiated rumors as fact can be very damaging to a persons reputation and business.
