Oh, okay. We have pond snails and the other ones the 'unicorns' must be malaysian trumpet snails, but ours are mostly white. Are those safe to feed to puffers? I hear theres a type that can break their teeth.
We found that theres a snail spawning area in my tank now. I have a japanese pagoda (the red archway) and I found clear gelatinous mounds of eggs all over it today. Most likely the pond snails, since they are the ones all over that thing regularly. I seperated one pod into a test tube to keep an eye on, in case the fish find the other eggs. So far though they seem okay. I cant wait because I want my puffers to be on a more regular diet of snails, the only thing Ive had for them this week is the frozen bloodworms.

MTS do not deposit eggs. They produce live offspring.

Okay cool. I have all the MTS in the platy tank, I had thought maybe those were the ones I shouldnt give them, they seem to have really hard shells. All the pond snails are in the guppy tank and Ive seen some babies growing from the eggs, unfortunately I think the babies ate most of the eggs. Im hoping the snails start breeding faster because I need snails to give the puffs

I feed my 6 for 7 days. I feed a day or less at the same time and same place (to make pick up a bit easier.) I know some people find interesting, hand feed, but I would recommend right...
