How long has that shell been sitting there? Are you stirring the sand substrate thoroughly, before the weekly WC?

That shell was scrubbed after they ate, I noticed that they would swim by and bite the shells so I just scrubbed them and leave them in the tank for about a week. I do stir up the sand before my wc and my dragon goby also helps with sand stirring.
