I would agree with purplecandle. Chances of them changing distributors that quickly are slim (no pun intended).

Physiologically, when deprived of food, the body eats fat first, then muscle, then bone. If they are that skinny we are talking abuse and malnutrition.

They will quickly bulk up under the "correct conditions" but as RTR puts it, we still haven't got those right yet.

The "bulk up" process is rather quick, but may not be in their best interest. Feeding adequate amounts is good, but having them gorge is not.

I was finally able to get my Walmart to stop selling Fish, after emailing them, stopping into the store daily, contacting my humane society, drawing over their "care info" and crossing things out, they now have no Fish left, as opposed to Oscar's, Puffers, etc. Mine got some small ones as well in at times, but, never smaller then a dime.
