Paraguard, be careful that is powerful stuff. My survival rate is at about 25%.

Ouch!! That's nasty.
I have got a new filter in my Hospital filter which puts in loads of oxygen. Only knows how this will end up. Oto is on the bottom of the tank alot which usually means that he/she is not feeling too well.
The bloody Lice was huge. In body terms it would be proportional to having a Rabbit try to burrow in to your abdomen and creating a hole to live in.
I have thhe temperature on the low side as this is thougt to increase oxygen.
I'm hoping no eggs are in my main Tank presently.

As is the way with these things my Oto was in the Hopsital Tank for the 6th day and then died. It was either the treatment or the big Fish Lice embedded or a combination.
Thinking back, the Oto has had this infection since i had had the fish but I was too dozey to suss it out.
I'll be seeking another Oto as the tank is getting a bit green.
I supposed they are fished out of rivers and this is what you get I reckon.
