I'm horribly impatient, and unless I notice some sort of horrible immediate effect, I tend to opt for the easy way out. He's always tolerated it well before (seemingly)... but eek. I am warned.

I hope the photos can atleast sort of provide some documentation of the effect, and ward others away from the same mistake.

Dude..I'm just theorising here...I don't know whether I'm on the right track or not, but yeah...see how he goes on with dissolved salt from now on. I mean..I dosed my fish with COPPER meds when they had ich.....soon found out better and won't ever make that mistake again.
It's a learning curve.
