Why do you always add Melafix to your discus tank? I haven't heard of that before.

Since I do huge (90%) WC on there, I see bubbles on the fish. I think this is irritating for them, so I add the Melafix to soothe their skin.

Did you add an airstone by chance? Upping the temp and adding melafix will deplete your oxygen in the water. Watch your fish, keep the temp up for at least 2 weeks after you see the last white spot. Dropping it too soon can cause another breakout.
