If he stays in one spot, can't you get a closer, macro shot in hi res?

Ha! You obviously have not been following my photo skills. I suck at taking pictures, but I can always try.

That's cool. That one *sorta* looks like mine. I'll try to upload pictures when I clip its teeth. And I know how to do that. What specifically do I need?

Are you asking what you need to trim the teeth?

If I am being totally honest PPG, I would say yours looks more A. Modestus than A. Nefastus. The body seems a little too compact and not elongated enough to be A. Nefastus. TIme will tell.

That's okay, as I said, we tried as best we could to determine what species it was from the Aqualog book and matched up what it says are points that indicate which puffer it is. We came up with nefastus, but I don't claim to be an expert on identification in any way.

Auriglobus are extremely difficult to tell apart and as there isnt that many decent images of Nefastus it makes it even harder. Whatever it is its a great looking specimen either way.

I remember Corvus saying they are difficult to tell apart. At any rate, I like my little guy (who's not quite so little) and will love him no matter what label we put on him.

No I'm asking what I would need to photograph to positively identify it.

A Hi-Res shot in focus, definitely need a side profile but any other angles you can get as well.
