He's a gsp as far as I know!

Got some positive feedback I wanted to share with everyone as a thank you! He was looking sluggish again today but gave him some blood worms which he chomped! also threw in some feeder shrimp which at first he ignored but has just been chasing a few around! not there yet but getting there and I'm holding thumbs for him! my water quality is sooo much better now!

again, thank you for all the advice! I have learnt sooo much and will be able to look after my puffers better!
off to the shop tomorrow to get him some nice big juicy garden worms, superb idea Pufferpuggirl!

I'm glad that things are looking up for your GSP, that's what we love to hear! :grats:

I'm pretty sure your puffer will love the earthworms, nearly all mine do. Please keep us informed. Hopefully your guy will continue to improve and things will be back to normal before long. :D

Just a quick update!
My GSP is now back to his normal self and eating / behaving normally again! Just wanted to thank the forum members for your valuable advice! His diet now has weekly worms which are his new favourite, he practically eats them whole!
I will be installing a new pump to help with filtration soon!
Sorry for the poor quality photo but he was fanning his tail which looks awesome!
cheers :D

He's beautiful! I'd like to see a nice white belly though.

Thanks Pufferpunk,
He has never really had a white belly. I have 2 GSP's who started out the same size. The big one has grown about 3 times in size and most often has a dark belly as you can see. The other one has only grown about 1.5 times and always has a white belly, see attached photo! Its kinda weird but they both seem happy now and live together very well!

Does anyone think it odd that his GSP has spots on it's tail? I don't believe any of mine do, I think their tails are completely clear.
It's a beautiful puffer though. :D
