Thank you all.

I am actually surprised how well she settled in. She went in her tank on Friday evening, and on Sunday she was begging at the front of her tank.
The lfs gave us some of her foods, she always ate eagerly there. Well she was a litle piggy.
Today she was fully exploring the tank and sandblowing, I gave her a crab and she went nuts on it.

Now we need to think of a name for her. Any suggestions?

Its official were gonna move to Germany in 4 weeks. We are familiar with a big move because my Clowntank moved 2,5 years ago. But this time we need to adjust Kaya our Fahaka and our 4 dwarfs over to new water params. We didnt had that problem with our Clowns because then i used osmose water (Don't have it anymore). Now i only prefilter the high nitrates out and leave the rest as it is, since its stable params.

Curent water is:
Kaya + dwarfs
PH 7.2 with co2 (Dwarfs 7,5 no co2)
KH 4
GH 8 a 9
No2 0
No3 <10 dwarfs have 10>
Nh4 0

Germany after prefilter
PH 8 (Tap is 8/8,5)
KH 4
GH 12
No2 0
No3 10 (Tap is 50 mg/l)

I can move about 150 liters of water.
Will a box of 50 liters be enough for her to make the 1,5/2 hour journey?
When she arrives I can get her a 90 liter black pond with the water i'm bringing untill we get her tank up and running.
I can also put 1 of her pumps on it. Will this be big enough for her to stay, for about +/- 2 hours till her tank is back up?
The rest will be used to keep her pumps running, and for a waterchange if needed.

I can try to get bigger holdingtanks ofcourse, but this is what i already got at home from when we moved our Clowns.
Kaya is the biggest fish we ever moved. So I wanted to play it safe.

Now comes the trickiest part for me. How do i ween Kaya and the dwarfs over to their new params?

Clowntje-

You might want to move this post over to the freshwater section or at least make it a seperate new post.

We have a few water experts around here and if your post is in the FW section, they might be able to see it!

Ty will copy my post to the freshwater section.

PP I know evrything in the article except for the drip method, so thx for that! but it doesnt say anything about how big the container needs to be for her to stay in.

We will move the dwarfs in about 2 weeks as a testrun, and then 2 weeks later Kaya will be moved.
