Top left are clove polyps. Nothing at all natural about that tank. You'd never see all those corals in one place. It all takes very careful planning not to have constant "warfare" between them all.

Now I'm curious .... what you do mean by "warfare" ? I never thought of corals as being aggressive.

Coral is very aggressive. They all have their own tactics. Some are invasive, some use chemicals, some sting.... The reef is a war constantly at battle.

Wow, I see what you mean (read the links above)! Funny how it all looks so peaceful, you definitely don't think that they are trying to kill one another when you see them in tanks or at large aquariums. :)

It still amazes me that I can keep all those corals together & as close as they are, all in the same tank.
