Epicystis crucifer, or rock flower anemone is a good nano tank anemone. They are quite hardy compared to other anemones and are even fine under PC, 96watt quad for a 10g, (at least 4x65watt for a 55g-90g for reference). If you look at the pics of my tank in the 1st page of this thread there is one in the dead center of my tank, brown disk, white tentacles. There are some more colorful ones, but I have never seen any in the MANY fish shops in the bay area. They tend to stay put once they find a good spot, they will find a deep whole in the LR and plant their foot in it. Mine hasnt moved for at least 4 years+. I read that they can eat small fish, like a small hawk or blenny. Anemone shrimp will form a bond with them.xrayjeeper83 wrote:that thing looks HUGE and beautiful.
