Ahhh didn't even notice that black background with your reflection in it. I also prefer the black myself. I can't put any plants at all real or plastic with my Buddy so I hear where your coming from. Just thought it would make it a bit more interesting for both you and Bubbles with more decor. He is a cutie that is for sure.

Hey! I just noticed you're a BCA member too..
My fahaka Nala, rips the tips of her plants as well.. she doesn't really eat them though.
Were they real or fake plants?

The plants were real but as I said before he only liked eating some of them. And yes I am a BCA member

Any idea whether you could actually feed him some greenery so that he won't eat what's planted? I have no experience, myself, with your type of puff; just wondering...

someone posted up a while back that they feed their puffer some kind of salad stuff, and they sucked it right down.

The other day I accidentally knocked a the better part of a pear in the tank and Bubbles started eating it.
