To bad i can't copy, it's to hard to understand al the text without translation.. Some people also told me it was because of to many light. But i dont understand, when it was 240lt it has as much light as now.. and now he is only 110lt..
Maybee because i don't use osmosis water? I give my anemone the same food as my puffer.. I cut it very fine and give it with a needle thing ( without the needle

) so i don't know what he/she wants than..

Yes, you can .... don't right click... use the Ctrl+C buttons

I just did a copy and paste into Word
DOH!!
I just noticed that PP said the same thing

Poeh, i realy don't know what you al mean with the ctrl + c enz enz.. i'm a noob and im happy that i know how my PC must go on.. Ivé tried al you say, but nothing copy.. only new tpages opening.. Anyway.. that was not the problem, so i've send the link to my dad, and that was an great translation
You tel me, that 1 thing people here told about thayt 1 watt - 1 ltr, that's that not treu.. But here in Holland it's realy normal.. And now i'm very confused. It's hard to understand waht you say, but its more difficult when the thing you say aren't the same as people told me here...
Anyway.. No money, this week there comes an bigger tank for my Fahaka.. And it's sad for the anemone, but he must wait until i can buy some new light... I'm realy sad now.. and i don't understand.. again, why it happend now, when he has more light than he ever had, and how its possible that the rule here in Holland is far to litle in you're eyes..

Mek0ng wrote:Simply not enough light! Watts per gallon means pretty much nothing. Its all about PAR rating, that is how much photo-active radiation, or how much usable light actually penetrates the water. You are going to need at least a high output T5 4-6 bulb system like one of these:
http://www.reefgeek.com/lighting/T5_Flu ... ofit_Kits/
That or metal halides. Anemones need as much light as the most demanding stony corals!
Is there anything I can clarify?
Anemones need as much light as the most demanding stony corals! (some such as non-photosynthetic and lesser photosynthetic can but the type you are trying to keep NEED HIGH LIGHT)
I want to help and know there is a language barrier but please tell me what is not clear.

I understand

And i don't say that it's not treu. only that i don't understand, because everybody here told me that it is 1 watt - 1 ltr.. also for stony corals...

But because i don't know the right words, it's sometimes a bit the wrong sentence
I understand, and i should try to build some extra lights

I'm happy that you told it! But my problem is why here they told it the wrong way
And what's not clear? The difficult words

The most i understand, but with some difficul sentence with 1 difficult word, that wil turn the whole sentence diffrent.. if you understand what i mean

And the CTRL+c things.. You al tel it in 5 words.. and i realy have no idea what to do than

Al that little things a pc hides, i think it's difficult in Dutch.. in Englisch it''s like alien languages
But i think i understand the most now!~I go find some new light!

Not just more florescent, you need stronger lights.
Like this:
http://www.marinedepot.com/Hamilton_HQI ... DE-vi.html
That would be the best for your money.
Dont waste more money on florescent, it wont work. Watts/liter does not work as a rule. 150watt metal halide is different than 150watts florescent.

What i ment, i'm looking for T5 lamps now.. An HQI i don't want because i can not against the licht.. Than i should build an new top for the aquarium, and that is not what i want or could do.. That are much to many costs..
Thx! A bit strange to read, but now i understand! And.. my mouth fel open.. 600watt on a 125ltr tank, that is realy crazy and i never seen that before!! Realy not, even not with tanks with only stony corals.. 600watt.. And when i look.. how the piep put they al that light up the tank.. how could TL's of 96 watt above a 125ltr tank??? Mijn is 110ltr and 80cm... there could not go bigger on as a 24 watt tl.. Maybe it schould be gal instead of liter?
Don't get me wrong, i would do everything for my fish what i can do and affort, but how i understand it, it's not possible.. Maybee with 3 HQI.. but nobody, realy nobody in holland has so much watt above a nano...

And with 600watt of HQI, i think my tank will melt down!
Are there realy people that have 600 watt on a 110LITER tank??

Watts does not equal the power of the light.
Watts equals electrical consumption (power usage)
For example, 150watt metal halide is going to be MUCH brighter than a 150watt household light bulb.
What are the dimensions of your tank? I can point out some good lights that will work for an anemone.

I have 500w on 174L which is a lot. Who said anything about 600w on a 125L or 110L? I think everybody would agree that 150w or 250w metal halide would be plenty for a 125L.

I'm looking for the T5 HO lights.. they should give a lot more light what i read about it. I hope to put 5 or 6 TL's, or 24 or 36 watt.. and then with that stronger light.. I think that that will be okee. Here in Holland they tink it's overkill, so it should be right than!

Be sure those lights have individual reflectors.

I really like my T5 HO i just got. Everything built-in, timers, moonlights, one powercord for 8 sets of lights. EAsy and clean looking. It was 300$ but totally worth it. Ive seen em online for 275$ US dollars
