:redface: aw thanks hon. Still very glad doing it right way round this time and have more experience :) Hopefully this time next week will have piccys of my new baby, if not it will just be the waiting game :lol:

sure my first wee fahaka died as a result of a dodgy heater and rocks i had put in leeched metals into the water.
there was thoughts that he wasnt the best from the start.
judging by this little one i have now, i would have to agree!
everything was just against him :(
but i have this lil guy and hes a charmer, totally different personality!
hope you get yours soon!

haha hope that doesnt happen to you, it can get annoying (i used to have a few red devil cichlids, the redecorating totally killed it for me, it made them not so enjoyable) my fahaka never redecorates... other than knocking over his "i prefer to live alone" sign haha... i think hes just trying to make a point tho :D

Well I have a large tree root now and might be getting another one, will probably take the live plants out to make better room leave a couple of silk plants in. The fahaka is ordered and likely to be coming saturday!!!!

Well update pics of tank, this isnt final version yet but best to do as today is arrival day, from the sounds of it only a baby at just 2 inches! So will adapt as grows to his/her needs :)

It is coming along very well. As opposed to removing that tangle, could you spread it out along the back pane of glass?
