Hello KushFace, welcome to the Puffer Forum!
did you find these "eggs" in the tank with the Cray & Gourami, or your other tank?
anything else live in the tank?
snails of any kind?
pictures yet?
BTW, now that we're in the "Hospital Forum," it would be very helpful to have the information related to the questions in the red box, above.

Thanks everyone much help! Ive been feeding them dried shrimp and they love it, their bellies arent sunken at all infact they were actually kinda "full" lookin, a little pudgy. Their attitude is super normal, they are very active, sometimes they get darker in color but as soon as I pay attention to them they get all bright again and start movin around. Two of the alleged "batches" have pretty much been eaten but they are still guarding the others. Im pretty familiar with fish poop... i dunno man, I wish I had a camera... They are tiny like not even 2inches yet, I have them in a 20g fresh right now cuz they're still little but im cycling a new 45g for them right now and i plan on adding aquarium salt when they get a bit bigger...This forum rocks btw u guys are rad, thanks again!

Gsp need 30 gal minimum. No less. For bioload and territory. As they get older they will be more aggresive. They also grow to 6". I would only keep one in a 45. Because they need a ton of decor and if you go all they way to marine with it you'll lose volume because of the live rock you'll need to add. Plus you need to use " marine salt" made by instant ocean. Aquarium salt does not raise your salinity whatsoever. It's mainly used in treating ick and promoting healthy gill funtion. With marine salt you don't need aquarium salt. Two different things. It's okay I did the same thing. Just listen to the ppl here and your puffs will live happily for a long time. I don't think you have eggs but if you did that may be why the one puff is gaurding it. I heard the male gaurds the eggs. Definetly seperated them for safety. Please answer the ? In red at the top of the page too please.

Okie doke, my water parameters are well within the acceptable range, im new to puffers but not other freshwater creatures, the only thing I dont know is my salinity level since I havent yet introduced them to marine salt, or salt of any nature. Tank is 20g and im moving them to a 45g, both tanks have no other occupants and plenty of decor. Im cycling my 45 with the same method I used on their current 20g and all my other tanks. I get the bacteria from one of my filters in one of my other tanks I know to be healthy and fully cycled. Ive never fed them anything but dried shrimp as ive only had them for 4 days now. I promise you guys I will have some pics soon, as I know its hard diagnose damn near anything without visual confirmation, apparently im the only person on earth without a facebook or a digital camera. Ill try to describe for now as best as I can but there are little yellow/brownish balls clumped together and encased in a clear mucus sack. Ive seriously never seen this with my cichlids, gourami, crays, nothing, but the more investigating I do it sounds pretty impossible for them to be eggs and im 100% sure its not poop, providing they poop like all other fish. Ill keep an eye on em and get some pix up here asap. Thanks again, you guys are rad. To be contd...

Based on this info, I would say it is absolutely not GSP eggs. They require full marine conditions to breed & your tank would be way too small. My guess is still with the poop - if they have internal parasites, the poop can look whitish/yellow in colour, with little balls held together by stringy mucous. Normal puffer poop can vary depending on their diet, but is usually dark brown & for fish that size, would be about the size of a mouse dropping.
give them a day off from feeding and see how their stomachs look. a main sign of IP's is if the bellies get sunken in fast. i dont know how long i could let mine go without food until it starts looking skinny probably a month or so. but im sure he would try picking out some damsels before he would starve that long
