I was just talking to my friend who owns a lfs and he said some online plant retailers especially if they import their plants they will use normal plant fertilizer therefore much more copper...i should of researched more and this is the first time ive ordered plants online and i wont ever again.

Just for future reference what fertilizers do any of you use?

I use the full Seachem line and haven't had a problem. I got all my plants locally and I'm glad I didn't put any store bought ones in the shrimp tank just in case.

What an unfortunate loss, this spring has been really bad for them :(

I use a DIY dry fert mix. They come in baggies and I mix the ratios myself in old water bottles.
