Am I reading this right? You are doing a hyposalinity treatment in a tank with live rock?

Never and good idea.

Hyposalinity and other treatments should be done in a quarantine tank. Dropping the SG that much is going to stress all sorts of invertebrate life on the rock, some may die, some may release toxins, too many unknowns. All of which could be saved with a simple 10g QT tank.

Great way to crash an entire system. Then you have way more problems than just "ich" (which vis really not Ich at all, it's called, Crypt).

I have a 5inch stars and stripes puffer, 2 fire goby's, 1 bicolry blenny,1lawnmower blenny and a foxface about 4inchs. how big of a QT tank would I need?

30g or you could get a Rubbermaid tub.

Raising the heat only helps freshwater ich speed up their life cycle. SW ich is a different bug. If you are going to preform hypo in your display tank, i would take the LR and inverts out and setup something for them with regular salinity levels. Hypo will kill your LR and that would cause pollution.

You should be able to find one locally, try hardware stores and if that fails check the phone book for janitorial supplies.

All you need is a small heater and sponge filter, give the fish a place to hide with broken terracotta pots and/or pvc pipe.

I would expect a good amount of those fish to die. Next time QT one fish at a time.
