That is a crazy price flutter. What are the rest of their prices like? Just wanted to add that my puffer must have had ich when i bought him because after a week or two, he was covered. I treated him with hypo-salinity and he now is clean and good. I wouldn't even think of buying any chemicals it worked so quick and easy. I was amazed.

They can be pretty expensive but normally not that outrageous. I don't go there much as too many of the fish are dead or dying in the tanks.

If they are all covered with ich, their salinity is probably too high. Most shops around my town keep their reef tanks at 1.025 but keep their fish at 1.015 to prevent a heavy appearance. This does not cure them tho.
