You guys are right..but I would never remember to turn the filter off...but to my credit it was a cheap filter and would clog when I moved the decor around...

What kind of snails? I have never seen a Walmart sell the kind of snails you will need..Ramshorns, pond snails..

I have no clue actually haha, I just saw a tank of them. I have not investigated much into food yet.
