Thanks for the replys so far. If anybody has any other experiences with SW snails, let me know. I don't know if i am willing to setup a FW snail tank for breeding. Maybe it's easier that I imagine.

Yes, I said that with those water parameters the tank looked cycled, just so you aren't misinformed about water seeding a tank's cycle, that's all.

Hi, everyone.

What's the minimum time that should I quarantine pest snails from PetSmart?

Should I preventatively deworm the snails by putting a small piece of a Jungle Labs Parasite Clear dissolving tab in the QT water?

I believe all those medications will kill the snails. I QT mine for about a month but I truly have no idea. I'm not sure there's a right answer which is why you aren't getting one.

Im not sure the name of the stuff but ive seen lil packets for seeding a SW tank and it contains snails. If you could find it you might be able to breed them in your tank with the puffer.

No way could you breed snails in a puffer tank, they'd eat them all.
