i kno i kno i kno... to be honest, like 5 years ago, i mentioned i thought it would be cool to see it on a cat, cause i never had... so my mom went out and bought those one time use ear piercers, and did it while i was at school to "surprise me". when i got home, i felt bad for her eventhough my mom said she didnt flinch, but at the time i said well its done now, might as well see if it heals up right, and it did... so 5 years later, she still has them... she never seems to notice them and we bought ones that her claws cant catch on... its a gold ball at each end, like a small barbell. anyway, yes, i do agree, it was mean, but at 16, you dont really think that way... and honestly, theres no use in taking them out now if they dont bother her..... anyway... please dont get mad about it guys, keep in mind it was a long time ago... i just knew someone would see it in the pic... so i figured id explain it first before someone flipped out about it

When i did 4-H...i was a different person back then , we had to tag our guinea pigs ears ("Cavies") and it was sort of like a piercing but it was an ID tag. I always wanted to take it off of her after her showbiz days but she died before i could .
On a further note i am thinking about getting a ferret, similar to cats i believe.
now that her earrings are healed, i more think of them as an identification if her collar ever comes off... would really help in discribing her if she gets lost because she is a strictly indoor cat, and she would probably get lost easily if god forbid she got out
