save some money on the acrylic until you've tried simple black paper fron a scrap book store. If that works you may try some tinted glass (the same material you use for car windows).

That dosn't eliminate his/her eating problem... give it a couple days

Still not eating, but spends 8 hours a day chasing his reflection up and down the aquarium. :(

My GSP was not eating at first for almost a week I gave him some gost shrimp and since then you can't get him to stop eating no matter what you put in the tank.

I can't find a single LFS in my area that stocks live ghost shrimp :( , I'm being very patient, he'll nip at the half clams I put in there, basically he'll try anything, but won't munch on it, or finish the job, but he sure is enjoying the chocolate chips on my starfish, I may have to remove it from the tank and QT it, only problem is my QT tank isn't setup or cycled yet! Oh the trials and tribulations of a marine tank!
