Thanks Don, we are very blessed to have our Mbu! He is great, he makes me smile everytime I see him!

My bf found a 320gallon Acrylic tank for free.. because he got another person to buy one. We were definately lucky to find such a great buy... it was an awesome deal from a very very nice lady!

So now we can have Kaleeko for much much longer, and I have plenty of faith that we will come across another great deal on a larger tank! lol

Just curious Lisa, are Kaleeko's colours vibrant all the time, or does the top across his back sometimes go a lighter colour? I used to notice that his colouring would lighten when he was like resting, and now, with him not being well it seems to be lighter all the time (which is a symptom of Hexamita). So I guess I'm just trying to see what's normal with a MBU that's not sick. Thanks. :)

Thanks Darkstorm :)

Kaleeko is always vibrant in colour, even when resting. Only time I ever seen somewhat of a colour change was when my bf and I made the mistake of putting him in the tank with the net and not keeping him in water :( & he puffed up a little bit, but we got him in water FAST!( NEVER going to do that again! ) He made a super loud clicking noise too.. it was pretty crazy!! & his tummy turned a dark brown. Which was partial brusing & I'm sure being stressed, other than that he has been very very colourful all the time!

Kaleeko is very handsom. That coloration blows me away and makes me want a Mbu even more.

haha I gave him a nice juicy snail.. he actually had a little bit of a hard time to crack this one's shell (for once).. it was pretty neat to watch him circle one way, then circle the other way. :P

I also went to Island Pets yesturday (a pet store out here) and they had a baby Mbu, it made me realize how large Kaleeko truely is, and he's only 9 months!!!! :D
