now idk for sure but i think right gill isnt fluttering like the left is..i have no idea what to do

They do that sometimes with their gills, favor one for some reason. All mine do it from time to time.

Why dose any meds, if you can get rid of ich w/o them?

I agree. Why risk using meds on fish that have been proven to be more sensitive to medication and have higher incidence of adverse reaction to medications when a perfectly good (and proven) nin medicated way to treat ich? To me it's way too big of a gamble with the fish's life.

Maybe this is a question that's too obvious to ask, but was the new tank cycled? If so, how did you do it?
