I never tried to put tankmates with my Fahaka. Maybe if I had a 240g with lots of decor , rocks , and hiding spaces... then I would try with african cichlids. But something tells me they won't be tolerated as my fahaka reacts to anything that moves in the tank. I've read that some were able to keep tetras or something small so the fahaka wouldnt bother eating it, but my fahaka eats ghost shrimp & their pretty small so go figure.

mine loves her cichlid friends she begs with em too. like syncronized begging.

I got about 40 feeder guppies with my fahaka. They clean the tank and his scraps up like A+!! and at night he fishes for them! Quick snack for him Ive tried everything with him but he eats ALL!
