The hardest part will be convincing my dad that this is what i want for my birthday lol.

I thought I'd never get a 10 gallon. I got to set up the one down in the basement with a lot of pleading. My brother didn't want his 5 gallon so I got it. And I got the 30 gallon for my birthday this year! Never thought I'd get a tank, period. Good luck!

My bday is december 14, so ive got time to strike up a deal with my dad... Probably something like, "ill do all the dishes and take the trash out and clean the yard if you get me the tank and some money for the fish, gravel, and plants for my birthday."

your parents cant keep you from getting new fish & setting up new tanks.

Hubby says no more tanks. I have to pick my battles. He's let 9 in the house already!

Well my budget says I can't afford more. My big dream was my F8s. I know I can't afford to go marine even though I'd love to. I have 3 kids and they all have birthdays within 3 weeks- NOW. They love the puffs, though.
