Well, Green Spotted Puffers. (T. Nigroviridis) are being captive bred now using the ovarian lavage technique. I wouldn't doubt that this could and is being used on other, more rare puffer species. If you can force a female Fahacka to lay eggs, and then milk the male, it would be a great deal more profitable for the supply chain than trying to wild catch specimens.

Good luck finding another! I'm thinking about maybe, maybe getting a miurus also. But, I'll have to find a source first. I've got an empty 37g that I have to replace the trim on (looks absolutely awful and cracked in half top and bottom). I was going to keep it empty as a back up tank, but I'm kinda thinking of getting a freshwater puffer now. I've always loved miurus ever since I saw pics of PufferPunk's, but I haven't had room or a tank. I'll have to wait until we move anyway, but I'm starting to think about what they need too. Might be posting my own questions once I do some more research.
