I have a few times, But i dont wanna think about it any more. My Wife and I rescued a Big GSP from death we named him Bubba. When we were trying to put him in our big tank after a week in the Isolation tank we hadcoralled him into a cup with the net. My wife was getting frustrated because he was back out thru the net and not staying in the cup. So took her finger and tried to gently get him back into the cup.... CHOMP!!! she pulled her hand out and screamed HIT BIT ME!! well that day Bubba got a small snack to because he took a small chunck of flesh with him... Since that day I really have not wants of touching him LOL.

I'll pet mine when I hand feed them. They don't swim away and sometimes they rub up against my finger like a cat!

I don't know what mine feels like...but he knows what I feel like. He bit me today while I was vaccuming the gravel. I wasnt paying attention and he took a quick nip before I could pull my hand from the tank. LOL!

I so want to pet mine but he's young and shy at the min I'm hoping if I keep putting my hand in eventually he will let me pet him

I've touched my GSP before. He eats from my hand, so occasionally he'll brush up against me. I try to avoid touching him though, because I'm worried about damaging his slime coat or scaring him.

I try to avoid touching them.Though I have been nudged or nipped a couple of times.

Try not to touch mine (Congo Puffer) - pretty sure he could chomp a finger off. But I have had to move him when I'm cleaning. He's pretty chill about it. And I do occasionally hand feed him - I just make sure to get my fingers out of the way before he sucks in the foods.

Oh my goodness!! Was it bad? Mine is really lazy (my puffer, not my husband
), so I don't think he'd put forth the effort to try, but I recognize that he could certainly do damage if he wanted to!
