He seems to be doing a bit better. He's been swimming .. well.. hovering above the gravel, but at least he's moving around. That's more than he was doing on Sunday.

I need to go in an vac up the food he spits out.. he's a messy, messy eater.

I'll post some more pics up later tonight. :D
haha that's great he's feeding so often, I bet he cannot believe his luck!

My Guppys and cory's hover up after Naboo

I'd like to get some corys, but I don't want to infect them too. although, if they're hoovering up treated food, I suppose they shouldn't be affected, huh?

Naboo had a touch of IP and Bollo also in the same tank and none of my other fish have been infected or suffered from it, plus like you say you're treating the food anyway. I think they'd be ok

Thanks for the vid, it's nice to see him moving round :D

He's acting exactly like Bollo was, Bollo was so far gone I never thought he'd make it but he did. I'm sure after seeing the vid that your guys gona pull through

I cannot get over how dark his colouration is, there's so much black on his face, I wonder if the lighter colour on his body will change to yellow when he gets better, I would've thought so.

I'd like to see him stay that colour though as it's very unusual!

You can see his teeth to, I cannot see Naboo's?!

I sent Myaj a pm so I'm just waiting to hear from her..

He is kinda yellow. I have another vid that I was uploading last night when a storm made our power go out.

Right now, he seems like he's having a hard time seeing. He swims around, but bumps into things. I tried to give him some yummy squid last night, but he doesn't seem to have the strength to break off the pieces of it. He LOVES clam, but not so much on krill.. or maybe it's the vitamins it was soaked in, I'm not sure. I'll see if I can get the other vid up today before I have to go to work. :D

I wouldn't get anything new until this crisis has passed.

I wouldn't worry about this as that's exactly what Bollo was doing

he ran into the heater a little bit ago.. but he's fanning his beautiful tail out much more often. I always take that as a good sign. :)

He is much more active this morning, but he's still acting quite blind.

I know he has some vision, since he perks up when I go to look at him, but swimming around, there's nothing.

He's keeping his round belly better than I thought he would, so perhaps there's a different issue?

just another update.

I got the geltek from Myaj yesterday (thanks again!) and started him on treated clam today. Went and picked up some Epsom salt to help him pass any worms that he might have. I came home to have a look at him, and he's covered in little white spots.. ich. ugh.

That being said, I've done some research, reading the article in the library, checking on some other posts.. and I know I need to raise the temps, and add salt.. aquarium salt, I'd assume.. for 28 days. So I guess I'll be starting that tomorrow morning. I'm far too drained to do it tonight, and I don't have aquarium salt.

Shall I skip the epsom salt for aquarium salt? and keep treating his food with geltek?
