Yeah I found it a lot harder than I thought it'd be, his mouth was so tiny and the teeth were pretty big so it was hard to get the cutical clippers in there

It was actually 1hr and 15mins not that 15mins really makes much difference, the reason I left him in there was because the meds didn't affect him for an hour, he was just swimming around normally. It was only when I added the last dose that he suddenly slowed and let me pick him up.

But yeah like I said you did warn me

You would have been better off using clove oil. It only seems to have an issue when used over & over or on a weak, emaciated fish & in that case, I wouldn't use anything on it.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bollo. He'll be remembered. You had good intentions, don't blame yourself!! It was a mistake and a learning experience and now you'll know what to do incase something like this happens later on. (Hopefully it doesnt though!) <3

I'm not sure yet, if I did I'd oprobably get 3. The thing is my main tank has a lot of happy guppies in it now and I may not be as lucky to get a SAP like Bollo who took no notice of them. Plus they wouldn't really fit in there.

When I finally build the huge tank I may get 5 or 6 SAPS

that would be an awesome tank!

Very sorry for your loss, I actually welled up with tears when I read this thread. I know you feel badly, but you meant well and you were doing something to help your puffer.
