I must say that the results on this competition often surprises me! This month I thought #5 was the absolute best photo, very sharp and beautiful puffer #4 wasn't bad. The puffer was cooler, but not that sharp :S I guess you guys look more at the puffer than the quality of the picture. That's actually good, but it's hard (for me) to guess the vinner

Some people vote on how cute it is, or how funny, others vote on photographic "style" and quality. You just never know who's going to win

I usually vote based on cuteness/funniness. I don't know squat about photography, but I do know that what really makes a puffer is personality.
