Thanks. The tank unfortunately is not drilled. This will be my firts sump filter so I have a lot to learn. I am totally unfamiliar with the pumps and what not that go into sumps. I mean I know the basics just not what tweaks can be made based on format, pumps etc to get optimal performance. Thankfully I got a buddy who knows a lot. Im really likeing the fact of one sump filter to the give a tank a cleaner look-no canister! Good call on running it on the current tank to allow for a instant cycle. I never thought about that. I will try but its going to be hard with the space and set-up I have now. The tank is on a dresser and if I put it in front my dog will probably have a drink or two. It would be kind of pointless for me to really move things around because we will hopefully be moving asap. I would have to move a lot of things then turn around and move houses. Thats gonna be hard enough, not looking forward to it! Any more info will be good as I can always use it.
