Well LilGreenPuffer I'm doing a bit of both. I just recently bought 3 new tanks, so I will have bigger tanks as well as tanks that I can put species-only in. I just can't move any of my puffers right now because these tanks are very new and are just getting set up. So unfortunately, my puffers will have to stay where they are for a bit longer. But IMO I don't think the puffers being together is what caused the illness, if there is an illness -- but I can understand what you're saying about species not meant to be together. I had planned on getting them all their own tanks, but it wasn't something I could do overnight. Things are very expensive over here, so I've had to save up. Anyway, I just got more tanks (3), so in a few weeks, I can move some of the puffers to their own tank.
Thanks to all of you for your input. :)

I've just turned the lights on in the tank where the SAP in question is. I have sat there watching all of them. That particular SAP seems fine now. Tail is fully opened and he's swimming around normally. I don't see any whitespot, or signs thereof.
They all look normal and happy. So hopefully I was just being paranoid about whitespot.
Thanks again for all the suggestions and input.

Yeah, the SAP looks fine now, swimming around as if there was never any concern. I guess I'm just a little paranoid when it comes to my puffers. I just don't want anything to happen to them.

As to the tanks, what work it is setting them up and getting them going. I know it's nice once they are up and running, but we've had quite a time with the equipment this time around.
