Yeah we give them all their food raw, we even got the local supermarket to give us an octopus leg, but the puffers weren't too interested hehe at least we tried

Oh, you have no idea, we're the kind of people who would get meat from the supermarket just for the stray cat that hung around our garden (who eventually moved in hehe). We're the same with the fish, we love 'em

Awww that's a sweet thing to do, my dad would leave some friskies outside for some of the cats to eat.I found a bunny while back and kept it in my garage (it was in the summer) and had it for a week until the guy picked it up.

welcome to the wonderful addiction of puffer keeping........
just remember to freeze all the foods first and thaw it out in a bit of their tank water before you feed it to them.....the freezing kills all the bacteria that you can get with seafoods from the supermarkets......
would love to see pics of the little hearthrobs......

I will try to get some pics, but now that Lorca has perked up they are both really hard to photograph as they are so fast!
I'm amazed how much she (or he) has improved, she was very dark just a few days ago and looking tiny in comparison to Lennie, but now she has a nice round white belly and is very light and interested in everything, I'm so happy

My cats like watching the fishies and the fishies like watching my cats, free entertainment for both of them and us too yey!
