On another forum we were discussing that maybe I upped the salinity too fast? So I should maybe lower it? Or do a SW dip if it's parasites....
At this point she's doing so horribly that I'll try anything.

BW fish swim in & out of different salinities & can handle large swings in SG with no problems. It would only harm your BB is you raised it too fast but you say the parameters are good.

It used to be my GSPs tank before Fletcher moved in, so it's been cycled at that SG for over half a year.

I've started the SW dip... using my drip acclimator thingy to raise her SG. She's in a bucket with an airstone and heater. Plus one of her plants so she can rest on it. I hope this works.... :\

This morning she's paler, thinner, and seems to be swimming weaker.

Oh my gosh....................

Her eyes are clouded over, and she's trying to jump out of the water. Her sides are so sunken in she looks like just a head with a skinny tail.

And now she's sitting on her plant. I think it's almost her time.

I feel sick. :'(

She sucked up a bit of air when she was jumping... I was able to get it out without making her puff. But now she's just laying still pretty much.

Eyes clouded, IPlike symptoms, clamped gills... perhaps it's an internal bacterial infection that has gone systemic?

Now she's just on her side. The only reason I can tell she's alive is cause her gills are kind of moving.

Systemic internal bacterial infection? That sounds pretty serious.

My baby is gone :'(
