Ahaha! Ohh that is too funny. The squid piece I bought didn't come with a tentacle (disappointing), and I cut it into tiny tiny pieces since Lola is a tiny girl but that really must have been something to see!

hey when you guys feed things like scallop do you just thaw a raw scallop and toss it in??? also goes for shrimp. i was gonna get a ring of shrimp and see if my puffers will eat it. if i just buy raw unseasoned i can pretty much feed them most seafoods within reason correct??? (sorry if this is a hijack)

Yep, that's how it's done. Usually you need to freeze it really well first, though, to kill off any potential nasties. But those shrimp rings (with the cocktail sauce in the middle?) are cooked.

alright ill keep that in mind. i think ill go for scallops because if i get shrimp i will eat it all within minutes. as long as i dont get bacon to wrap the scallops in they should be safe. thanks a lot LGP.

Lola doesn't like eating her bloodworms anymore, after having given her scallop, clam, & squid.

Once they get the good stuff they don't want the rest. lol Annabelle will go on a hunger strike when she wants crab. If the local grocery store ever stops selling crab I would be in big trouble.

dont eat the non cooked shrimp

Don't matter how old it is. I'm the one that started it two years ago. Good to see people still read my old post. It brings back wonderful memories.
