If it wouldn't be for Elvis I would probally down grade also. I did get a denitrator, hoping that will do some good once it kicks in. And on Sunday March 15th, Chong will be living with fishlady.
Hoover (wrasse) is already back at the lfs so that leaves:
Elvis (S&S puffer): My sweet darling baby.
Daisy (Snowflake eel): to clean up Elvis' mess inside and around the rocks.
Blenny (Lawnmower blenny) to keep the algea under control.
This is my 156 gallon with 55 gallon sump. I might have to upgrade later but it will give me more time.

What are the measurements of your 156g tank in inches/feet?

I'm just curious as to how big that really is

That sucks, I'm not too surprised, though - I have never seen one of them in healthy condition at a store, always sunken bellies, and looking so hungry, I really doubt it was something you did. I wonder if they have the same issues of heavy wild infestations of parasites you see with burrfish.

edmlfc1, Have you tried Vitamin C for nitrate reduction? It gives you great skimmate too!

I already have a nice freshwater puffer named Abe. I believe I've decided to shut down my marine stuff and set Abe up in a 40 gallon breeder and just focus on that tank for a while. I've been wanting to upgrade him for a bit now, since he's a pretty big fellow and loads of fun, so I feel he deserves it. ^_^

A nice big marine tank will just have to wait until I have some money in the bank.
