ive kept mine in full marine and now slightly brackish...doing well in both

killed my banded puffer... bite marks all over him, not just the fins...

highly territorial!

woa that sucks, the other day i went to pet city up the road from me and the have a tank with about 10 young banded puffers that must bite each other allday all of them exept one has atleast 5-6 pefecr circles bitten out of them and that one is completely bite free and heaps fatter then the others

must be the dominant one??

my puffer wont burrow at all, all he does all day is begs for food, and beats up his reflection, oh and when i added salt for the first time he quickly swam into where i was pouring it in and started playing in it

What do you mean by "added salt"? How much? Are you using a hydrometer? Unless you are dissolving it 1st, there is a strong possibility of burning the fish's skin with direct contact with salt.

i wouldnt put dry salt directly in, its disolved in water and yes i have a hydrometer rising it by .002 a week, he swims around in the salty water that i was pouring into his tank

ive had mine for a good half a year and never see him burrow either?

not that the sand bed is deep enough to bury in hehe


but i never see him try?

He doesn't want to hit his head on the bottom!
