the pics you referenced to is puffle! his eye spot is black but dont know if the lierus can have a red spot or not! Corvus where are you???? lol

I'm pretty sure they can have anywhere from black to red spot...

I know they are a target puffer, so would that mean that they kind of all have the same or very similar care requirements?
Also my puffer is now just hiding and is laying on the gravel and is refusing to eat. But he may have eaten the live glass shrimp I put into the tank before I got the puffer. Should I be worried at all?

Difficult to tell from the two small and blurry pictures, but my guess based on what we got is M. cochinchinensis. Here's a kind of ID scheme:
Short snout (< about 2.5 diameters of the eye) + clear target spot (can be red or another color, but must be obvious) = M. cochinchinensis.
Short snout + target spot not much different in terms of size from other spots and only red in juveniles = M. turgidus
Long snout + red spots that can turn silver on a dark background= M. abei
Long snout + clear border between coloration of the back and the belly = M. cambodgiensis
Long snout + no characters of the two above + sometimes with large target, sometimes without target = M. leiurus
Short snout + mottled green with small yellow dots, no real target, but a darker eye spot = T. cutcutia

If the initial distress symptoms you describeb are gone, then, no. He's probably very stressed out right now, and it can take puffers a while to start eating after a move. Some puffers can go up to three weeks without eating and be absolutely fine. If yours doesn't start eating in a few days, though, try soaking his food in garlic treatments.
