I moved Elvis once he reached 10". I had him in the 125 for almost a year. You have time. Just keep watching the papers, local fish clubs, craigs list, garage sales etc. You can find a really nice tank for cheap. Just remember if you upgrade you may also have to upgrade some of your equipment.
Just something to think about. If that's the case you can always use the 125 for the porc.

As edmlfc1 said you probley have 8-10 month before you will have to upgrade to a larger tank for the Stars and Stripes. The 125 would be great for a porc, you will find once hit with the puffer bug one is never enought. Got a picture of your baby to share?
