ill be back with them tomorrow. The male hasnt ate in 11 days now so i hope he eats when i am back his belly is pretty flat. I think watching the eggs he would be off his food anyway from what i hear they are gone now anyway??? saturday ill try to feed them and see what happens. My neighbour left 2 halfs of prawn in the tank and cannot see them today but i think they will be behind some plants more than likely sadly

back in the uk..... no eggs to be seen now so pretty upset but always next time.... they havnt ate in 14 days now well the female ate last friday so ill feed her again tonight / tomorrow. the male is on 14 days one mor eweek before i get worried i think.... there looking well though.

i think they sulk, i went away for a week and had my partner come in and feed them, she does a good job, but he wasnt too happy and sulked alot, now i've been back a while he's happy again!

maybe try something live? shrimp? worm?

the female ate last night no problems male still is on hunger strike i think its 16-17 days now... he ripped a prawn up last night and spat it out of his cave.... despitehim not guarding eggs and being in the wrong cave. ill keep trying him hes got a flat flat belly but not overly skinny yet. ill keep trying him

they are cuddling up again so more eggs in a day or so i think. little worried as the male hasnt ate in 2 weeks now and he wont eat while on guard duty either

Taking the eggs immediately and ensuring they can't spawn again might be in order.

well yes im collecting a 4x2x2 at the weekend which ill split for fry / eggs. ill split the male + female aswell in there tank until they both eat. the male isnt overly thin yet but he has a flat belly so hell be ready for a good meal. they were together still this morning still no eggs so i think tonight / tomorrow well have some. one to two days after the eggs are gone he should be ready to eat so il ltry him on thursday now.

they were doing a little dance today (when i was home for lunch) and went back in the cave so im expecting eggs ill take them straight out and put them in a small bristlenose cave where they cant get them so the male can relax then and hopefully eat
