Saps? Sorry new to the forum thing?? And will the trimming still need to be done even with the approprite foods?

Pufferpunk are you saying that fahaka puffers need there teeth trimmed more often than saps?

No, SAPS need regular dentistry. I've neve trimmed my fahaka's teeth.

While I am new to keeping puffers. In my research on my figure 8 puffer I read that you can keep them together in a species tank as long as you have plenty of hiding places and plants. The key to them getting along is to make sure they each have their own territories and that they are not constantly able to see each other. You also have to make sure to keep them well feed so they do not begin to nip eachothers fins. They are brackish tho....they need a little bit of marine salt...but not much. I would recommend them tho....I love my Moe!
