hahaha so i soaked the mussel in garlic and placed it on his favorite sport, 2 minutes later I check on him and this is what I see.

:ROFL: You need to have a talk with him. Tell him he needs to eat the mussel and not sleep on the mussel.
Don't feed him any ghost shrimp for a couple of days and try the mussel again. I only feed mine every 3 days. It's ok to skip a few days of feeding. This will also give him time to get settled.

Good News! I get home from work today and I have this handsome fellow to greet me at the front of the glass wagin his tail like a dog. I threw in a mussel and he chowed down, didn't overeat though. Now he is cruising around checking out his new home. :D

Yay! Glad he's settling in finally.

This guy seems like he's got quite the personality - that pic you posted of when he took the mussel with him back to his little hole made me laugh out loud.

oh no! I get home from work today and he comes to greet me as usual acting normal but he has white spots on his fins and body!! I didnt notice any of these yesterday! He ate very well and was active and normal. :(

By the way, you should try clearing up that photo digitally and submitting it to Puffer of the Month.
